Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large client in the manufacturing industry looking to hire a Millwright! This role is a union role with a swing shift with 12-hour shifts rotating days/nights and working every other weekend. However, every couple months, you get 6 days off.
Responsibilities:
Day to day responsibilities:
· Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems within the manufacturing plant.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a steel mill atmosphere
Must be able to work in a high-speed processing environment
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of electrical industrial experience
· Industry experience-
HEAVY, within a steel manufacturing plant ideally but, if not that- then a machine shop, or similar industry.
· Experience with AC/DC crane controls
· PLC- light troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens.
· Able to read blueprints & schematics
· Rigging, bearing, lubricating, pneumatic and hydraulic experience
· Experience troubleshooting 480 volts and below
· Able to be on high ladders, climb those, and get in tight corners if needed
· Safety oriented person!
Able to jump in as needed and wear many hats-
