Job Summary Join MongoDB's dynamic Public Sector Sales team as a Sales Account Executive to drive growth in our West South Central region. In this key role, you'll develop and maintain strategic relationships with State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts, expanding MongoDB's footprint. You'll lead your territory, leveraging internal resources to sell software and professional services. Key Responsibilities Act as the leader and CEO of your assigned territory, developing strategies to achieve sales goals Establish and nurture effective relationships that lead to growth opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships with CIOs, Directors, Managers, Developers, and Database Administrators Work closely with Solutions Architects to ensure successful client engagements and outcomes.Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and the Professional Services team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve satisfaction Develop and execute plans to find, develop, and maintain SLED accounts, expanding MongoDB's presence. Develop and manage a sales pipeline with a primary focus on securing new logos and new workloads. Strategically prospect into C-suite positions, IT leaders, and technical end users such as developers and database administrators Work closely with ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to enhance deal sizes, utilizing strategies such as upselling, cross-selling, and bundling. Collaborate with partners and strategic vendors but do not rely on them Participate in comprehensive sales enablement training, including Sales Bootcamp, advanced sales training modules, and leadership development programs to continuously enhance your skills and effectiveness What You Bring To The Table 3+ years of field quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, with a focus on closing net new logos within SLED.
