The role involves representing clients in employment-related disputes, focusing on plaintiff-side litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful cases and build meaningful client relationships in a collaborative environment. Duties: Represent individual clients in employment and labor law matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. Handle all stages of litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings. Manage cases independently and work closely with clients to provide strategic legal counsel. Maintain strong professional relationships and deliver exceptional service to clients. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents. Attend mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary. Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, with at least 4 cases tried to verdict. Strong background in plaintiff-side employment law, including familiarity with state and federal employment statutes. Licensed to practice law in New Jersey; Pennsylvania licensure is a plus. Currently in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar. A professional record free from disciplinary actions or negligence claims. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; Pennsylvania Bar admission is advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in employment law and litigation strategies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build and maintain client relationships with professionalism and empathy. Strong legal research and drafting capabilities.
