The Position
We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. The Opportunity: This role contributes with independent knowledge under general oversight and direction to deliver a range of assignments in support of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) activities which may include: Inspections and assessments Program audits Training development and delivery Metrics tracking and reporting Assisting others in conducting incident investigations Developing corrective/preventive action plans The ideal candidate will have experience in the practical application of multi-disciplinary SHE programs, work with a high sense of urgency, possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be resourceful and eager to develop. Responsibilities include: Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure safety, health, and environmental (SHE) compliance. Lead and assist in program audits and develop training programs. Track and report metrics related to SHE performance. Assist in conducting incident investigations and developing corrective/preventive action plans. Provide expertise on specialist SHE topics to colleagues and management. Support the development and implementation of SHE programs and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal regulations and Roche provisions. Engage with stakeholders to address SHE inquiries and support incident investigations. Contribute to business process improvement activities to enhance SHE culture. Who You Are: Five+ years of experience in applying multi-disciplinary SHE programs with urgency and attention to detail. Excellent communicator with strong teamwork skills. Resourceful and eager to develop in the SHE field. Proficient in conducting SHE inspections, assessments, and audits. Capable of supporting and performing training and education sessions. Knowledgeable in health and safety aspects of contractor management. Effective in engaging with stakeholders to address SHE risks and concerns. Ready to support emergency response and business continuity management activities. Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Public Health, Risk Management. Language skills to include English B1 - B2.
