Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire an Senior Application Developer with experienced with B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This individual will act as team leader on projects. Participate in development of software user manuals. They will instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on development team. They will provides leadership and develops new software solutions or major enhancements to existing HCL Commerce Cloud/WebSphere Commerce solution. Responsibilities
System Analysis & Design: Conducts in-depth analysis of business processes across areas including finance, accounting, logistics, personnel, and contracts to ensure software solutions align with these processes while meeting functional requirements.
Develops conceptual designs and flowcharts that simplify complex operations.
Software Development: Translates functional designs into executable software.
Manages the coding, testing, debugging, and refinement processes to deliver high-quality software.
Implements enhancements to optimize software performance and efficiency.
Documentation & Compliance: Creates comprehensive documentation for both developers and users, ensuring software usage and maintenance are well understood. Maintains documentation to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Technical Leadership: Provides strategic direction to development teams, guiding programmers and analysts to meet project timelines and objectives. Advocates for best practices in code quality and scalable architecture. Provides leadership and develops new software solutions or major enhancements to existing HCL Commerce Cloud/WebSphere Commerce solution. Problem Solving: Designs and refines system procedures to address complex challenges, considering factors like hardware limitations and operational efficiencies. Utilizes advanced problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction and business performance. Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications
Required: Five (5) years' experience supporting DoD shared service providers and/or major DoD development/upgrade effort Must be eligible for IT-II security clearance or have a current NACLC or (T3) at time of proposal submission.
