Job Overview:
The Strategic Planning & Investments team within FP&A leads the firm Investment Committee and serves as the connection point between strategy, product, and finance. The Vice President, Strategic Planning & Investments is a highly visible role that includes frequent interaction with firm leadership. They will support prioritization and optimization of LPL’s technology portfolio and strategic investments over a multi-year arc. The ideal candidate has a combination of finance knowledge and strategic acumen. Responsibilities:
Prepare presentations and develop frameworks that underpin the monthly Investment Committee process to allocate investment capital and maximize return on investment Partner within FP&A and cross functionally to create executive-level business cases and investment proposals, help define measures of success, and quantify trade-offs Lead cross-functional working groups across the organization that support the development of robust business cases aligned to firm strategy Partner with corporate strategy and product leadership in the development of a 3-year executive level roadmap Develop methodology to size up funding pools for new investment and reallocation/ reprioritization efforts Support development of firm-wide corporate goals and OKRs that cascade throughout the organization Support development of Board level presentations that speak to investment allocation methodology and company performance What are we looking for?

BA/BS degree in finance, business, economics (or a related discipline) 7+ years of experience, with 5+ in financial services strategy, consulting, product management, or banking Reside in or open to relocate to San Diego, CA or Charlotte, NC metro area Preferences:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree Robust understanding of the wealth management space and related technology platforms Prior experience in consulting/corporate strategy supporting a financial services organization Core Competencies:
Ability to own multiple responsibilities while addressing ad hoc concerns of leadership and business partners, with minimal direction Strategic agility and ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Experience building financial models/developing business cases, and effectively communicating analysis to support decision-making Exceptionally strong communication skills, navigating communication at multiple levels of the organization Pay Range:
$137,000.00 - $228,300.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
