SAP FM Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP FM (Funds Management) and GM (Grants Management) Consultant to join a Brownfield Conversion project from ECC to S/4HANA. This role begins with a soft start in December, with a formal project kick-off in January. The consultant will play a critical role in the transition, utilizing expertise in both Funds and Grants Management. The position requires flexibility for frequent travel, particularly at the start of the project, with an estimated travel requirement of 50% overall. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support the ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion project. • Apply expertise in both SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM). • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for FM and GM functionalities. • Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA to meet project needs in FM and GM domains. • Ensure smooth integration of FM and GM processes during the conversion. • Provide technical and functional guidance to the team and resolve issues as they arise. • Conduct testing, documentation, and training to support the project lifecycle. • Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders to report progress and challenges. Required Qualifications • Extensive experience in SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM). • Proven experience with ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion projects. • Strong understanding of SAP configuration and integration in FM and GM. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, especially during the initial project phase. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in similar projects within the public or government sectors. • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA best practices and innovations. Education: Bachelors Degree
