Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced MAC Team Network Engineer to assist in directing and managing the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team. The MAC Team Network Engineer is critical in facilitating Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) across our network infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and performance. This position requires a deep understanding of network configurations, VLAN management, VPN routing and forwarding, and technical expertise to manage activations, deactivations, installations, relocations, and network equipment upgrades. Roles and Responsibilities: Execute MACs efficiently, encompassing hardware moves, port activations/deactivations, VLAN extensions, and more, using existing materials to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Provide technical support for a range of network activities, including but not limited to configuring VPN Routing and Forwarding, managing VLANs, and supporting site-to-site VPNs within the DoD accreditation boundary. Adhere to DoD's change management process for tracking and executing MACs through service request tickets, ensuring timely and accurate completion of network modifications, upgrades, or deactivations. Conduct root-cause analysis for network-related issues, contributing to weekly trouble tickets analysis and the Monthly MAC Report to identify and resolve recurring problems. Utilize tracking systems for MAC requests, ensure customer accessibility and government oversight, and maintain detailed documentation of all changes and configurations. Assist in developing and maintaining SLAs and user agreements, ensuring clear communication and alignment with customer expectations and scope of work. Responsible for leading a team to execute Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs). Responsible for coordinating with customers' various internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of MACs, including installations, activations, modifications, upgrades, and deactivations of ports and circuits. Track and execute MACs via service request tickets. Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring problems related to MACs, networks, and systems. Prepare and submit Change Requests for MACs, track all MAC requests via service request tracking, and provide client and leadership oversight for program tracking. Responsible for preparing monthly reports regarding MACs. Provision Voice MACs, including line provisioning and phone deployment, ensuring full mission capability to the customer. Responsible for gathering and verifying client requirements and documenting all changes. Qualifications/Experience: Active TS/SCI clearance 7 years of experience as Network Engineers. Proven network engineering experience in MACs in a large-scale, dynamic environment. Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including experience with VPNs, VLANs, and network configurations. Certification in network engineering (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix network issues promptly. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. DoDI 8140 IAT Level II DoD 8570 Compliance Network Administration/Engineer Certification.
