Job Type Full-time Description Powder River Industries, LLC provides technical services across the entire system development life cycle (SDLC). As a prime, we are responsible for complete end to end system management for a customer's mission system. This includes a data center, integrated logistics support, COOP, and disaster recovery. As a subcontractor we are providing services from: DevSecOps, software development, network administration, systems analysis, database administration, storage engineering, hardware engineering, Tier 1 - Tier 3 support in traditional data center environments (bare metal frames), cloud, and hybrid cloud. The cloud environments we are operating in today are AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle. Role & Responsibilities: Conduct network engineering activities Provide technical advice relating to delivery and access to services through innovative, approved network engineering processes Provide Network engineering support for installations, maintenance and integration projects Troubleshooting and maintenance of desktop and network equipment, transport, Cyber/Information Assurance compliance, processes and technical documentation submissions in accordance with applicable processes Provide direct support to other sites as directed Analyzes voice, video and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites Configures communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other applicable devices Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments Analyzes network topologies, traffic, and capacity requirements and provides recommendations for systems improvements Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users May perform network administration duties Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Installs, tests, and troubleshoots network equipment Requirements Technical Environment: Microsoft, Linux, Splunk, Ansible, Tenable, GEMS Non-negotiable Requirements: 1. Top Secret with investigation current within the last 5 years 2.
