As a prime we are responsible for complete end-to-end system management for a customer's top secret enterprise mission systems. This includes data center, logistics support, configuration management, COOP, and disaster recovery. This role is focused on adding depth to our Network Engineering team that handles networking tasks from layer 1 troubleshooting Router, Switch Firewall Load Balancer configurations to site deployments and more. Requirements Installs, configures, maintains, and optimizes LAN and WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, VPN appliances, load balancers, voice and video telecommunications systems, security devices, and other associated devices Ensures security patches are applied to all network infrastructure devices, including voice and video systems Manage and monitors network performance and asset inventory, utilizing network management tools and following industry best practices. Provide design and project feedback in engineering meetings Manages data center network infrastructure and assists with storage and virtualization. Maintains technical knowledge and stays abreast of state-of-the-art communications and network devices. Maximizes network performance, troubleshoots network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Extensive routing, switching and firewall experience supporting complex LAN/WAN security networks. Understand Linux/Unix, Windows operating system internals, including system security. Submit reports as specified and defined when needed. Acts as client Liaison for software/hardware related inquiries. Participate in team meetings. Capable to Lead and assist in network or related projects May perform other related duties as assigned. Non Negotiable Requirements: 1. Top Secret with investigation current within the last 5 years 2. On-site, no remote 3.
