About the job Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect needs 8 years experience architecting and implementing GCP cloud solutions. Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect requires: AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of eight years of experience architecting and implementing GCP cloud solutions. Google Certified: GCP Solutions Architect Professional certification. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex migrations with multiple stakeholders. Experience with GCP cloud technologies and migration strategies. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Deployment Manager, Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience with GCP DevOps for CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ITIL Foundations certification. Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, etc.) and their integration. Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with automation frameworks. Experience delivering IT services in support of a biomedical research environment. One or more of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS. Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect duties: Help users conceptualize and design comprehensive GCP solutions, providing guidance on resource allocation, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints for enterprise applications and workloads. Evaluate and recommend the most suitable GCP services and configurations for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Design scalable and resilient cloud solutions that meet workload owners specific requirements. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like GCP Deployment Manager and Terraform.
