Key Responsibilities AWS Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable, resilient applications. Operational Monitoring and Support: Develop and implement monitoring solutions to ensure high availability, security, and performance of AWS environments. Provide operational support and respond to incidents swiftly to minimize downtime. Automation and Scripting: Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks, including monitoring, backups, and deployments, to increase operational efficiency. Security and Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and logging. Ensure all operations align with security and compliance standards. Collaboration with Development and DevOps Teams: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support deployment pipelines, manage configurations, and enable seamless application updates and scaling. Documentation and Process Optimization: Maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS infrastructure, operations procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes for efficiency and reliability. Technical Skills AWS Proficiency: Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, and Lambda. Operations and Monitoring: Proven ability to manage and monitor AWS environments, including incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning. Scripting and Automation: strong scripting skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages for automating cloud operations. Security Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of AWS security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards. CI/CD Pipeline Support: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, integrating with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Containerization and Orchestration (Optional): Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS is a plus. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
