The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales functions and activities within an assigned geographical region. The position will oversee a team of territory business managers to ensure our customers' needs are being met. This role provides the opportunity to work remotely but does require regular local travel throughout the region, at a minimum of three days per week.

Essential functions and basic duties:
Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of effective regional sales and profit budgets and forecasts, including assigning sales territories and accounts to territory business managers.
Create and implement strategies to exceed sales and margin goals within region, keeping management informed of area activities, progress toward established goals, and of any significant challenges.
Effectively supervise the sales force to ensure optimal performance. Establish sales goals, conduct quarterly performance appraisals and bi-weekly 1:1's as required.Frequent travel with business managers at least three days per week.Formulate and implement corrective actions as needed.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with customers, vendors, and trade contacts.
Maintain awareness of the Company's competitive position, industry trends, and the changing business environment to identify opportunities for growth.
Maintain regional pricing in accordance with company guidelines.
