Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the company's accounting, financial reporting, and controllership functions with precision and agility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX requirements, and tax regulations.
Oversee financial close processes, internal controls, and external audits to maintain the highest levels of accuracy and integrity.
Act as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address accounting issues proactively and ensure seamless financial operations.
Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
Spearhead process improvements and the implementation of ERP systems and financial tools to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Maintain a focus on inventory and lease accounting, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Build and sustain strong relationships across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and influence key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required); CPA certification (required). Experience:
Minimum of two years in public accounting (audit) and seven or more years in a controllership or senior accounting role, preferably in a public company. Leadership:
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while driving operational excellence and process improvements. Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in SEC filings, financial reporting, ERP system implementation, and a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and federal/state regulations. Our Team Members
