In this role, you will create intuitive and visually appealing front-end interfaces using React.js and other modern front-end technologies. You will work closely with product managers, back-end developers, and designers to build user-friendly interfaces that empower partners with actionable insights from customer data. Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and development of user interfaces using JavaScript, front-end development and user experience design.
Front-End Development:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and dynamic web interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. User Experience Design:
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to translate business requirements into interactive and seamless user experiences. Component Library Creation:
Develop reusable UI components, ensuring consistency across the platform. API Integration:
Work with back-end developers to consume RESTful APIs and integrate data into front-end applications optimally. Performance Optimization:
Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability, ensuring smooth operation on various devices and browsers. Design Systems:
Work with UX designers to maintain and enhance design systems for cohesive visual identity and usability. Accessibility Standards:
Ensure the application meets accessibility standards (WCAG) to provide inclusive experiences for all users. Testing and Debugging:
Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and React Testing Library; debug and resolve front-end issues efficiently. Documentation:
Document code, workflows, and UI components to foster collaboration and future scalability. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and trends to continually improve the platform's UI/UX. Education:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience (Preferred)
Work Experience:
Less than 2 years UI-UX experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in React.js, Redux, or other state management libraries. Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Design Skills: Understanding of UI/UX design principles and standard methodologies. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD preferred. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
Testing and Debugging: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) and debugging tools like Chrome DevTools.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work in cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and usability.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with GraphQL, server-side rendering (Next.js), or micro-frontends. Knowledge of customer data platforms or data-intensive applications. Familiarity with accessibility tools and compliance standards. Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite. Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Material-UI, or Styled-Components. Knowledge of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a plus. Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
