Salary Schedule
2024-2025 KAP Salary Schedule Step placement based on verified years of experience in an equivalent position. Salary is annualized and spread through August. *hours per day is an average - daily schedules may vary based on student days
Paraeducator Requirements: Prior to starring, candidates must meet the minimum employment requirements for paraeducators in the State of Washington through one of the following means:
Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution. 72 college level credits from an accredited institution A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you can still apply. If you are the chosen finalist candidate you will have the opporutnity to take the test prior to being formally hired into the role.
Post Hire Requirements:
Upon hire, paraeducators will be required to complete state required training offered through our KSD Professional Development Team.
