A Mid-Size, National, AM 150 firm, known for their innovative approach and commitment to client success, they have established a strong presence from east to west coast and are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager to work with their successful Finance, Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital or Emerging Markets Practice Groups.
Job Description
As Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager, varied responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans Collaborate with marketing, digital and communications to promote Practice Groups Creating, updating and saving pitch content, materials, and client information ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible to all the firm Scheduling, sourcing, planning and executing business development events (conferences, speaking engagements, panels etc.) Act as the single point of contact for Partners for their marketing-related needs, cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with key Partners of the Practice Groups - understanding developments and ensuring these are promoted to new/ existing clients MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager will have demonstrable experience:
5+ years in Business Development within a National, preferably AM Law 1-200 firm setting A strong understanding of the legal sector - experience working with one or more of the following Practice Groups: Finance, Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital or Emerging Markets Strategic, business mind, collaborative, hands-on approach An ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships Excellent communication and presentation skills What's on Offer
This role is offering:
A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 base salary depending on experience, this scale is for estimated 5-10 years experience Comprehensive benefits package Genuine opportunities for personal and professional growth, working directly for the Business Development Director at a time where the firm is growing their BD group A supportive and collaborative work environment Flexible hybrid arrangement (generally Tuesday-Thursday in office working)
