The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and configuring the technology infrastructure across all Soapy Joe's locations, including managing enterprise systems including car wash control systems operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, servers, and networking infrastructure. The role ensures that all systems, both at the home office and in the field, maintain our uptime targets consistently smoothly, and securely. This requires clear and timely communication with vendors, problem-solving discussions, resolution planning, execution, and verification. The System Administrator also implements system upgrades and proactively troubleshoots issues to support efficient operations at all locations, ensuring that technology support is available to the business during hours of operation. This role works closely with our 3rd party I.T. vendors and service providers for escalated technical support and provides key inputs and recommendations on technology to the Director of I.T.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Zendesk Ticketing and System Management:

Monitor and prioritize helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all user requests. Track issues through resolution and escalate complex problems as appropriate. Technical Support:

Resolve Tier 1 technical support issues such as network connectivity problems, hardware malfunctions, and basic troubleshooting of software or operating systems for both office and field employees. User Training & Documentation:

Develop and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides specific to Soapy Joe's car wash operations. Support training on operating systems for new employees. Document and share common issues and solutions with the Director of Technology to streamline future troubleshooting efforts. Network & Systems Setup, Maintenance, Performance & Upgrades:

Install, configure, and maintain networks, systems, servers, and software systems and accessories (e.g., desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, network printers), at the home office and each car wash location to ensure optimal performance. Operating System Management:

Monitor and maintain operating systems hardware and software in partnership with 3rd party I.T. vendors and service providers to ensure reliable functionality in managing car wash operations. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical support when necessary. Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to the Director of Technology or external vendors for advanced troubleshooting and resolution. CRM and POS & Payment Systems Support:

Manage and troubleshoot CRM (SFDC) and POS systems, ensuring smooth transaction processing across all car wash sites. Technology Equipment and Licenses : Responsible for technology asset tracking, license maintenance, software and technology equipment procurement, provisioning, and installations. Security & Backups:

Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and regular backups to ensure data security, availability, and disaster recovery. On-Premises and Cloud Services Migration and Integration:

Support the migrations, integration, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based storage, software, and services across Microsoft 365, MS Azure, and Google Workspace, ensuring seamless communication and data access for both office and field employees. Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience in an I.T. management role, with a focus on multi-site environments. Proven experience managing helpdesk and ticketing systems (Zendesk), and POS applications and strong customer service skills to support field employees who may not have technical backgrounds. Ability to learn new industry-specific technology and quickly identify and resolve issues impacting system uptime and operational efficiency. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with operating systems.,. Excellent organizational and communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff. Must be able to explain complex I.T. issues in simple terms and collaborate with field employees at car wash locations. Expertise in network protocols, VPNs, servers, storage, databases, and basic infrastructure support. Knowledge of system security, including data protection, backup strategies, and disaster recovery. Ensuring the integrity of systems and data across multiple sites is crucial. Microsoft 365 Admin Certification is required to ensure proficiency in managing cloud-based collaboration and productivity tools critical to operations. REQUIREMENTS: PHYSICAL

Ability to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for various increments of time. Able to move about to access a variety of tools and office equipment. Able to consistently operate a computer or other electronic device. Must be able to communicate clearly through both verbal and written form.

Salary Description

$80,000 - $90,000
