Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Program Marketing and Social Media is an action-oriented position responsible for all aspects of marketing for select program areas and is responsible for all aspects of growing JCC Chicago's mission and brand through robust external relations efforts.

The Senior Manager, Program Marketing and Social Media will develop, plan and execute short and long-term results-oriented, integrated, strategic marketing programs for the JCC Chicago Early Childhood programs, aimed at maximizing program awareness, engagement and revenue through a variety of media, traditional and new, including print and online, broadcast, social media, digital and mobile. They will ensure plans lead to long-term audience growth and execute successful promotions to attract new and retain current audiences. This individual will be a critical change agent in the development of new marketing and sales tactics and promotional partnerships.

Additionally, the Senior Manager, Program Marketing and Social Media is responsible for developing and overseeing JCC Chicago's social media strategy across various platforms, including creating engaging content, managing online communities, refining data analytics to track performance, and responding to customer interactions, all while maintaining brand consistency and aligning with marketing goals, and ensuring synergy with the social media presence of our sub-brands; essentially overseeing JCC Chicago's online presence and public perception through social media platforms.

In partnership with the Chief Marketing Officer and Director, Program Marketing, the Senior Manager, Program Marketing and Social Media will ensure all marketplace communication is aligned with JCC Chicago's brand positioning to deliver differentiation across target audiences with an external view to winning in the marketplace.

Key Areas of Responsibility: Work in collaboration with the CMO and Director, Program Marketing to develop, plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns to accomplish established Early Childhood program marketing objectives. Serve as an internal champion and subject expert for the Early Childhood portfolio and its customers. Achieve program awareness and engagement goals by developing, planning, executing, and evaluating advertising, direct mail, digital, and promotional activity action plans; speficially: Manage marketing of all Early Childhood programs; work in partnership with Early Childhood team to build the brand and continually reach new and current families through multi-channel initiatives. Develop, launch and execute a JCC Chicago Early Childhood social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Seek out public relations opportunities in support of JCC Chicago Early Childhood programs and initiatives to secure earned media that elevates the agency. Write engaging and impactful on-brand copy, connecting programs to customers and community, "owning" the Early Childhood program area and being accountable for their relevancy and success in the marketplace. Assist with the management of customer-focused direct response channels, including digital (email, web, mobile, etc.), direct mail, calendar creation/maintenance and other media. Work in conjunction with CMO and Director, Program Marketing to determine mix of advertising in print publications, online advertising, promotions and outdoor advertising. Collaborate with in-house and third-party resources to take projects from concept and development to final delivery - providing messaging, copywriting, and design direction, as needed. Prioritize job requests based on agency and marketing goals and manage expectations appropriately. Partner with various Managers, Directors, and Leadership to ensure materials that are produced are of the highest quality, reflect company guidelines, consistency of voice, and functional needs. Work transparently with programmatic partners, valuing communication and sharing documentation of project lifecycle timelines and campaign strategy. Provide thought leadership in terms of social execution, best practices, new media and emerging trends. Drive digital thinking, ensuring consistency and brand elevation across channels, and helping to guide digital analytics. Grow engagement on social channels using creative copy, on-brand images and innovative tactics to the tell the JCC Chicago story and promote J programs and experiences Collaborate with fellow marketing staff to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the plan on identified opportunities. Manage processes and remove barriers to ensure that the team is as effective as possible. Demonstrate a strong creative perspective and bring fresh ideas to product positioning and marketing campaigns Key Essential Job Duties/Physical Duties:

Repetitive movement of arms and hands to operate computer, keyboard and mouse. Ability to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to operate equipment such as phone, computer keyboard and standard office equipment. Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Days/Hours/%Travel:

M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm, some nights + weekends as necessary; frequent local travel to various JCC locations.

Education Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or related field. Previous Experience:

8+ years of marketing experience, with proven success in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels - marketing communications and promotional programs, public relations, brand building. Previous success managing simultaneous projects, budgets and deadlines with ability to plan, achieve and evaluate results individually and through others. Other Requirements:

Knowledge of artwork development, media, PR, Social, Digital and advertising processes. Demonstrated ability to work with limited resources while still being creative and effective. Ability to prioritize work, use good judgment, pay attention to detail, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and carry projects through to completion in a timely manner. Results-oriented team player with the ability to take initiative and drive programs. Subject matter expert in consumer behavior, marketing principles, and all things social media. Strong writing and communication skills; experience in copywriting will be considered an asset. Must be highly self-motivated, personally & professionally resilient, enthusiastic, passionate and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Adobe CS; digital asset management; experience with digital advertising and SEO a plus.
