Location: Hybrid (Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC) Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Architect with a strong background in data management and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with Databricks and a proven ability to engage with clients effectively. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of data across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices. Utilize Databricks for data processing, analytics, and governance activities. Facilitate client-facing discussions to understand their data governance needs and challenges. Conduct assessments of data quality and compliance with governance policies. Provide recommendations for improvements in data management and governance processes. Create and maintain documentation for data governance initiatives. Train and mentor team members on data governance principles and tools. Provide client-facing support, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience 7 years of relevant work experience Databricks Unity Catalog hands-on experience required Proven experience in data engineering Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies A continuous learner that stays up to date with industry knowledge and technology Minimum of 2 years of experience with Databricks or similar data platforms. Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices. Proficiency in data management and analytics tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
