We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our team, specializing in the industrial market. This critical role is responsible for overseeing and managing the pre-construction phase of industrial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Our expertise spans the full lifecycle of construction, from initial concept and pre-construction planning to project completion and ongoing maintenance. Description Key Responsibilities: Pre-Construction Planning & Coordination: Lead the preparation and development of the pre-construction phase for industrial projects, from initial concept to the start of construction. Work closely with project stakeholders to understand project goals, constraints, and requirements. Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and budgets. Ensure that all necessary permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals are obtained.

Bid & Estimate Management: Manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates and proposals for industrial construction projects. Analyze bid proposals from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Recommend cost-saving opportunities, value engineering, and alternative solutions to meet client requirements and project goals. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Design & Technical Support: Collaborate with design teams, architects, and engineers to review and refine designs to ensure constructability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with project specifications. Provide technical guidance on project design, materials, and construction methods. Review and ensure the accuracy of all construction drawings and documents before the construction phase begins.

Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and assess project risks during the pre-construction phase and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout the pre-construction process. Monitor project progress to ensure it remains on track with respect to the schedule, budget, and scope.

Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor pre-construction team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments. Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and senior management to establish project execution strategies and ensure alignment across all phases. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns during the pre-construction phase.

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. Participate in client meetings, providing updates, addressing issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction, with a focus on industrial projects (e.g., manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, etc.). Proven experience in pre-construction management, estimating, budgeting, and project planning. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry best practices, especially within the industrial market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings. Proficient in construction management software, estimating tools, and MS Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
