Senior Event Service Manager (TEMP) - Signia by Hilton San Jose The Signia by Hilton San Jose is looking for a Senior Event Services Manager to join their team! As Senior Event Services Manager, you will be responsible for event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of all hotel events. This position primarily handles complex events. You will ensure a seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales. Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Serve as the primary contact for event planners following turnover on property and be responsible for their experience. As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for: Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties by developing plans and goals. Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person. Creating and maintaining relationships with clients to set and meet expectations. Demonstrating knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes. Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances. Selling and influencing both internal and external clients. Making decisions and solving problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution. Ensuring high-quality service by assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. Participating in customer site inspections and assisting with the sales process as necessary. What are we looking for?
