Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Senior Project Manager to provide support to an Edgewater Federal government contract. **Due to the nature of the customer and work, US Citiizenship is required** Responsibilities

Plan, develop, track, and report on an integrated master schedule. · Meet with and/or present to the Federal clients weekly or as needed to discuss detailed project status and impediments. · Anticipate project challenges and risks scenarios and prepare, lead, and execute proactive response strategies to ensure optimal results. · Contribute to the development and delivery of company and client-facing program reviews, status reports, performance reports and other program-level communications. · Closely monitor and manage team members to align with the staffing plans, schedule, and cost constraints and goals. · Perform tasks requiring in-depth knowledge of business domain, targeting process efficiency and improvement. · Apply advanced consulting skills and technical expertise to work with Federal clients in support of new automation capabilities within client development and production environments. · Work with the other Edgewater cybersecurity teams to identify the right mix of tools, techniques, and procedures to translate the client’s needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. · Take a critical approach to solution design, identifying gaps, providing alternatives, and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and business needs. · Work with a variety of Cybersecurity teams to understand their processes, make recommendations for improvements and improve Cybersecurity Operations across the organization. · Understand and track the requirements for a diverse array of projects, deliverables and routine operational tasks Qualifications

Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to develop PowerPoint presentations and present to Federal clients. · Technical writing skills for creating supporting documentation. · Strong understanding of IT security concepts. · Familiarity with enterprise change management. · Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills. · We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Practitioner with strong PM skills · 10+ years of experience managing projects and providing directions to teams of 10+ resources. · 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity in SIEM , Incident Response , Threat Intelligence, Infrastructure Security, Network Security, Applications or Systems Security, or Security Operations · Information Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or other cybersecurity certifications. · Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or other technical degree. · Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education. · Experience with third-party integrations. · Strong programming in Python. · Ability to use JIRA and/or ServiceNow for tracking tickets. · Experience with log management platforms, including Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar. · Experience with cybersecurity tools including, Splunk, CISCO ISE, Forescout, BigFix, Carbon Black, Cloud Strike, FireEye, Microsoft MDE, ServiceNow, Palo Alto, McFee, and/or cloud security platforms Location : Bethesda, MD (Remote work option available) Clearance : U.S. Citizenship required and ability to attain a Level 6: Public Trust - High Risk clearance which must undergo a Suitability Determination that includes a Background Investigation (BI) with Periodic Reinvestigation (PRI) reinvestigation every ten years.
