Division/Department Information Department of Health Professions within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The Department has 18 full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty members across programs in M.S. in Physician Assistant, B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science, and B.S. in Radiologic Sciences. Responsibilities Faculty Responsibilities: Teaching may include didactic as well as clinical courses within the radiologic sciences. Coordination of didactic and clinical courses to support a competency-based curriculum. Evaluate student performance and provide remediation as needed. Participate in the accreditation and assessment processes. Participate in periodic review and revision of curriculum, course material, program policies, and procedures. Support the program director to assure effective program operations. Assist the clinical coordinator with daily operations of clinical education, assess students at their clinical rotation site, and develop new clinical site affiliations. Advise and mentor students. Serve as active member or chair of program, department, college, and university committees. Engage in active service, research, and scholarship. Assist and attend student and program events. Continuous faculty and professional development. Other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and Program Director. Program Coordinator Responsibilities: Lead the continued development of the program. Assure effective program operations. Oversee ongoing program accreditation and assessment processes. Participate in budget planning. Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction. Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies. Other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Department Chair. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in related discipline. Current ARRT certification and registration in Radiography. Current ARRT certification and registration in Mammography or other (highly preferred). Current or eligible New York State Department of Health – Radiologic Technologist License and Registration. Minimum of three years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline. Minimum of two years’ experience as an instructor or higher in a JRCERT accredited program. Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising. Demonstrate scholarship and/or research (e.g., publications, national presentations) and active participation in community and/or professional organizations. Active participation in professional societies and associations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Application Process For consideration please apply online.
