The Retail Solutions Architect (Microsoft Dynamics 365) at US Foods is a key member of the retail IT team having primary responsibility for providing guidance for all (Microsoft Dynamics 365) related products and services, including influencing the strategic initiatives/roadmaps alongside the Product delivery Leader. This role interacts directly with all levels of management in the IT and business organizations, identifies key customer requirements and presents solutions that meet those requirements. Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Retail Solutions Architect position is completely 100% remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with the development of formal Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology strategies, roadmaps, and proposals • Develop and maintain expert understanding of all appropriate applications and products. • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes • Perform end to end testing on all facets of implementation • Dissect and lead corrective efforts of discrepancies with supporting software(s) • Provide technical guidance and advice on all pertinent technologies. • Perform advanced technical presentations for infrastructure and business stakeholders. • Develop advanced system configurations and implementations in response to customer needs and requirements. • Actively participate as a SME for certain products and technologies, providing consultative support to other Engineers in their area of specialization. • Provide direct support for the technical aspects of RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s. • Manage all customer feature requests including documentation of customer requirements, prioritization of all customer requests, and driving development of key features with the vendor team. • Responsible for continued education on the D365business applications and underlying technologies. • Provide technical leadership to the business team. • Teach other members of the team and act as a mentor as required. • Research, test, implement and support Microsoft Dynamics enhancements and upgrades RELATIONSHIPS: • Internal: Business Stakeholders and End Users, IT Leadership, IT Delivery (Scrum Masters, Developers, Architects, UX Designers, Program Managers, etc.) • External: Application / Systems Vendors (as applicable) WORK ENVIRONMENT • Up to 10% travel MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • 8 years experience in related technologies: (5 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP and 2 ERP large scale enterprise implementation of Dynamics 365) • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in Retail software D365 Security framework roles and best practices D365 ISV knowledge Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required. Preferred Certifications/Training Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert MB-300 Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations MB-340 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant PL-900 Power Platform Fundamentals Agile/SCRUM certifications or strong working knowledge PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and strong working knowledge across the Microsoft D365 F&O and Retail Commerce suite and supporting modules and Microsoft products/processes: Order to cash processes -Inventory, products, variants, attributes -Catalogs, assortments, pricing and discounts -Online/Brick & Mortar channel configuration -POS Architecture and configuration -Payment processing -Distributed Order Management (DOM) and Intelligent Order Management (IOM) -Data migration, data management and FastTrack go-live assessment Universal pay verbiage: Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $95,000-$155,000 This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.
