Job Description: Practice: Mission Animal Clinic exists to provide high-quality, comprehensive veterinary care with an emphasis on exceptional patient care, client service, and client education. We have a strong, tenured support staff and we partner with MOVES to provide board-certified surgical options to all of our clients. We strive to provide our patients with the best preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical care we can, while empowering our clients to be informed, pet owners. We provide full veterinary services including vaccinations, on-site laboratory testing, dentistry, routine surgeries, radiology, and prescriptions diets.Position Purpose: Mission Animal Clinic is searching for an additional DVM to join our amazing team! We've recently remodeled, so all doctors and staff will benefit from a newly redesigned working space, dental area and larger treatment room. The doctor's office has also been restructured to offer a comfortable, collaborative set up for our multi-doctor team to enjoy. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent team collaboration and strong emphasis on work-life balance are just a few things to look forward to when joining our team! We are flexible!. Veterinarians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply as our doctors would happily mentor a recent graduate as part of our customized mentorship program. Essential Responsibilities:Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.Provide counsel around pet end of life care.Maintain patients' medical records.Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.Requirements/Qualifications:Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.Appropriate state licensure.Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.Benefits Offered:Competitive Compensation - All salary ranges are negotiable based on experienceUnlimited personal timeBonus incentivesHealth insurance; dental insurance; vision insuranceRetirement benefits (401(k), Roth(k) with match)CE and licensure reimbursement Flexible work schedulesManaging career path developmentEmployee Assistance ProgramDVM Referral ProgramMental Health ResourcesRelocation assistance available
