Job Description: Practice: You'd do anything for your family. At Avalon Family Vet, we feel the same. Each one of our patients receives personal care from a team of experts that will treat your pet like their own. We offer top of the line animal services for pets in Avalon, Orlando, Union Park, and surrounding cities. Come see why we were voted the #1 animal hospital in Avalon Park in 2021.Position Purpose: Our amazing team at Avalon Family Vet is looking to add an associate veterinarian! With this remodel we have also added upgraded technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software) and equipment (digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, IDEXX laboratory machines, etc)! Our practice currently sees predominantly wellness cases in feline and canine medicine, including preventative spays and neuters, and dentistry. Opportunities for other soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries are available, if this is an interest of yours! If you're not a surgery fan, there are several referrals in the area or traveling surgeons who can come in and take the cases. We highly encourage referrals and don't keep patients overnight. Our group has a young leadership team led by DVMs, who are attempting to pioneer the industry with flexible scheduling, family-friendly benefits, and leaders who understand burnout (because we've been there!).
