What you will be doing:
Ensure a quality movie-going experience, maintaining cleanliness, safety, appearance, and service standards. Manage revenue, payroll, and expenses within budget, implementing action plans as needed. Oversee cost control and profitability while adhering to budget guidelines, addressing variance explanations, and maximizing revenue through strategic planning and market analysis. Collaborate on capital improvements, annual budgets, and non-routine expenses. Recruit, train, and develop associates to foster growth, handle performance evaluations, and maintain HR compliance. Monitor competitors, market trends, and brand promotion efforts to drive growth. Support guest and associate recognition programs while enhancing Marcus Theatres' brand presence. Ensure quality, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met through audits, inspections, and corrective actions. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What we are looking for:
2-4 years of operations management in theatre, customer service, or food & beverage in a fast-paced environment preferred. BA/BS degree or equivalent education/experience preferred. Strong leadership and staff development skills; maintain positive employee relations. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication abilities. Flexible to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays and eager to learn new skills and technologies. Proficient in inventory, revenue, and expense tracking; skilled in Microsoft Office. Experienced in customer relations and conflict resolution with professionalism. Physically capable of continuous movement, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working under pressure; completion of required certifications. What's in it for you?
