Attorney needed for Glendale office

A law firm is seeking an Attorney for their Glendale office. The Attorney will focus on prosecuting consumer and employment class and representative actions, handling matters such as wage-and-hour disputes, unfair business practices, discrimination cases, and false advertising claims. Duties: Prosecute consumer and employment class and representative actions Handle cases involving wage-and-hour disputes, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising matters Conduct legal research and draft legal documents Engage in motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions Participate in discovery process, including taking and defending depositions Represent clients in court proceedings and oral advocacy Requirements: Must be licensed to practice law in California or already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California Bar 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation Experience with discovery in the civil litigation context Ability to appear in court and handle motion practice Experience with taking and defending depositions Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission pending admission to the California Bar Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is a plus Company info Corporate Real Estate AttorneyLos AngelesSeeking a Corporate Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience.
