Position Title : Dental Assistant
Location : Advanced Dental Care, Juno Beach, Florida
Job Overview : Advanced Dental Care is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Juno Beach, Florida. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists to provide high-quality care and ensure a comfortable, efficient experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for dentistry, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory areas in compliance with infection control protocols. Take and develop digital x-rays, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images. Provide patient education on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive measures. Assist in managing patient flow, ensuring that appointments run on schedule and patients are kept informed. Prepare dental materials for fillings, crowns, impressions, and other procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans as needed. Take and record medical histories, vital signs, and other necessary patient information. Provide assistance in patient comfort, including calming anxious patients and addressing concerns during procedures. Sterilize and disinfect dental equipment and surfaces in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards. Schedule follow-up appointments, manage patient treatment plans, and communicate with patients regarding upcoming procedures. Assist with administrative tasks such as patient check-in/check-out, billing, and insurance verification when necessary. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials, ordering new stock as needed. Assist with office and clinic maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the treatment areas. Qualifications :
Dental Assistant or related experience in a clinical setting preferred. Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Ability to take and develop digital x-rays and perform other clinical duties under the dentist's supervision. Strong understanding of infection control procedures and sterilization techniques. Proficiency with dental office software (Open Dental) is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and calmness. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support co-workers. Working Hours :
Full-time position, Monday through Thursday. Compensation :

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience in the dental profession. Valid X-ray certificate. Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements). CPR & first aid certificate.
