Our Program & Our Center TLE centers are modern and purposefully designed with the child in mind, offering a colorful environment that inspires learning and play. Our center is technology-enabled and equipped with interactive L.E.A.P boards (Learning, Experience, Academic Program) to help children learn. Our proprietary curriculum is designed through the eyes of a child. Our lesson plan outline is provided to our teachers, so you always have a framework to work with, yet it allows you to infuse your own creativity into your classroom. Reports To: Program Director and/or Regional Manager Responsible For Supervising: Assistant Center Director(s), Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Cook, Volunteers, Any Other Staff, Children Background Clearance Requirements: Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) Big Picture Responsibilities: Brings the best communication to the table! Great communication ensures everyone is on the same page, and helps our center run smoothly at all times. Ensures our center is compliant with ALL California Title 22 rules and regulations at all times. Ensures that center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations. Knows, understands and executes our employee handbook to ensure our center is the best it can be on a day-in and day-out basis. Manages and coordinates TLE curriculum with staff that complies with state and federal requirements. Oversees all operations in the center. Manages and supports teaching staff and promotes their professional development through on-going training and coaching. Interviews, hires and trains new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements. Communicates and meets with parents regarding their children and the center's policies. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: STAFF MANAGEMENT Ensures teachers are fully supported, and the center is staffed appropriately on a day-to-day basis. Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning. Manages team to ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards. Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the future. Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action. Builds and communicates weekly schedules. Daily management of classroom ratios. Manages new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations. Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget. CUSTOMER FOCUS Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc. Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress. Executes “parent pleasers.” Execution of our Show and Tell. Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers. Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations. Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations. Responsible for accident/incident reporting. Medication management. Conducts monthly emergency safety drills. Manages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations. QUALIFICATIONS Two or more years of center leadership/management experience is highly preferred. Must have at least 4 years of professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children. At least 15 ECE units, 3 units of which are infant/toddler-related, and at least 3 units of which are in administration or staff relations-related. Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations. CPR and First Aid Certification are highly preferred. Must meet state specific guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude and work ethic. Background Check Annual TB Test and Physical, plus immunizations as required by California law (measles, pertussis and influenza. Influenza can be declined with a letter stating you decline this immunization). Job Type:

Full-time Pay Range:

$65,000-70,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
