About the Role Under God’s guidance, Scripture Union NSW is looking for the right person to lead the movement forward. The Board of Scripture Union NSW is seeking a gifted and godly Chief Executive Officer who is passionate about working with volunteers to take the good news of Jesus to children, young people and families, and encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through Bible reading and prayer. The successful candidate is someone who will understand the ethos of our movement, appreciates Scripture Union NSW’s unique history in Australian evangelicalism, and will boldly lead it forward to see future generations of Christians empowered to share the love and hope of Jesus in a variety of ministries across NSW. This is a full-time position and remuneration will be set by the Board based on skills and experience. Key Capabilities In accordance with Scripture Union NSW’s Capability Framework, applicants will need to demonstrate their aptitude across the following key areas: Capability Group 1: Christian Conviction Capability Group 2: Personal Character Capability Group 3: Work Skills Capability Group 4: Interpersonal Skills Capability Group 5: Commitment to Scripture Union Ethos and Mission Key Relationships As CEO, you will be comfortable working with the following stakeholders: Chair and Board of Scripture Union NSW Scripture Union NSW Staff (Ministry and Administrative) Volunteer Ministry Committees and other volunteers Scripture Union International SU Australia NSW churches and denominations Relevant Para-church organisations Ready to Apply?
