FRA Brands, LLC (“FRA”) is a leading boutique studio fitness company operating primarily in the New York area. With five CycleBar locations and 17 Pure Barre locations in the New York City metro area, Fraser Road Acquisitions is one of the largest fitness organizations in an ultra urban market. The Company continues to expand the Pure Barre and CycleBar brands in New York and other regions. The franchisor of both brands is Xponential Fitness, LLC, the national leader in boutique fitness, operating studio concepts including CycleBar, Pure Barre, Club Pilates, Stretchlab, Yoga Six, Rumble, and BFT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the FRA Brands CycleBar VP Operations, Sales & Marketing, the General Manager is the heart and soul of one of the company’s CycleBar studios. The General Manager runs the daily operations and long-term strategies of the assigned studio, oversees the Lead CBX and CBX Associates at the studio, and is a key influencer in building the CycleBar brand. This position is integral to the FRA Brands team and will participate in company-wide initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities and duties of this role include the following:
Sales, Lead Generation & Lead Management
Strategically engage in marketing efforts to generate leads for the studio, using grassroots marketing, networking and paid social media campaigns.
Follow the LASER process in order to convert Leads to Members.
New member acquisition and non-member conversion to membership.
Lead the CBX team to meet/exceed specific membership goals at organization and studio level.
Calculate month-end commissions for CBX team and submit to payroll manager.
Responsible for daily Instagram story or post in the studio Instagram account.
Membership and Rider Relations
Build rapport and lasting relationships with all members.
Retain existing members and engage with them in a way that generates referrals.
Handle all Rider concerns with a solutions-focused attitude in a timely manner.
Schedule special events to delight and retain membership base.
CBX Team
Hire and train new CBX Team Members.
Manage CBX schedule.
Supervise CBX Team Performance and drive results.
Financial Performance
Collaborate with FRA Brands Leadership Team to set monthly, weekly, and daily targets.
Conduct pre-planning on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure financial targets are met.
Understand studio financials and implement expense management techniques for cost savings.
Operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Studio.
Ensure all technology is working and submit trouble tickets when necessary.
Schedule repairs and maintenance with handy person or outside expert.
Be an expert on all sound systems and back-up system.
Leadership/Time Management
Delegate non-essential duties to Lead CBX and CBX team.
Schedule and lead monthly and quarterly Lead CBX and CBX team meetings.
Collaborate with FRA Brands GMs to share best practices and streamline operations and sales processes.
Communication - give and receive coaching within sales team and serve as a liaison to filter information to the Executive Team.
Merchandise
Change out retail floor and design displays weekly.
Oversee inventory on ClubReady and move between studio as necessary.
Strategize clearance sales quarterly (Instagram, eBay, bargain bins) to offload stagnant merchandise.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week in studio during scheduled class times.
Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales.
Ability to manage and drive 2 revenue streams: memberships and retail.
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
Affinity and passion for fitness.
Solid writing and grammar skills.
Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
Proficiency with computers and Studio software.
