We're looking for an experienced Sr. Manager, DevOps Engineering to join our Core ZIA team. Reporting to the Director of Software Development Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
Leading a team of developers to improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI and testing our large-scale engineering infrastructure through its entire lifecycle including planning, design, implementation and maintenance.
Partnering with a multi-functional team including engineering, product, and testing to improve development workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and minimize risks.
Enhancing software delivery speed & quality by implementing a "self-service" model.
Overseeing documentation for your team by contributing, directing efforts, and promoting best practices.
Articulating objectives with all partners to set shared expectations and ensure visibility around the release and deployment process.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
10+ overall years of proven experience in software engineering, developer productivity, DevOps or release management, with 4+ years of management experience.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++ and hands-on experience automating infrastructure for containers, bare-metal, and Virtual Machines.
Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD, with expertise in container orchestration and management with a focus on practical and scalable solutions.
An engineering mindset with a preference to create automated and self-service systems and a track record leading projects and managing timelines in an Agile environment.
Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related fields.
