Location: A city in central Michigan, about 90 miles to Detroit! Facility: Medical center offering a comprehensive range of orthopaedic services Opportunity: * Can only accept certification from ABOS (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery) * Seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE, Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to work full-time alongside a 10-physician team * Play a pivotal role in providing specialized orthopedic care focused on primary and revision joint reconstruction, replacement. This position will also be working with joint infections * Wide range of orthopedic joint surgeries, including - Total Hip Arthroplasty - Total Knee Arthroplasty - Revision Joint Surgery * Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients * Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing complex joint conditions will contribute to improving the quality of life for patients seeking relief from joint-related ailments. * This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in orthopedic surgery. * Call Responsibility equates to about 4 calls per month * Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless patient experience * Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in total joint arthroplasty * Access to Stryker MAKO robot * Strong clinical skills and judgment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Commitment to providing excellent patient care * EPIC EMR * Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program Compensation: * To be discussed at interview * RVU-based incentive compensation plan * Relocation Allowance, if applicable * Sign-on Bonus (to be discussed at interview) * Opportunity for Educational Stipend during Fellowship year * Generous paid vacation (37 days including CME) * CME Stipend * Paid Professional Dues and Licensing fees * Retirement Plan 403(b) Plan and 457 (b) * Life, Health, and fully paid Dental and Vision with Long-Term, Short-Term Disability * Professional Liability Coverage w/Tail * Health shortage area- qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
