As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

The Auto Scaling team is seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative technical Senior Product Manager to define and deliver services that enable customers to build highly elastic and scalable applications in the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and others to define and execute a high impact roadmap of features and services that enhance our customers' ability to seamlessly scale their applications. You will work backwards from the customer to understand their challenges and needs and define the capabilities experiences AWS will offer to make it easy for customers to operate at scale. You will be responsible for product exploration and design and work with a dedicated team of super talented engineers to build and launch these products. Key job responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets their needs. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Auto Scaling that aligns with the overall business goals. Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact. Work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality features on time. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the product strategy accordingly. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market) Excellent verbal and written communications skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies MBA or Masters in Computer Science or engineering field Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
