This ambitious and high-profile role providesa compellingopportunity tobe part of a teamfocused on growth strategies, planning and execution inthedigital learning space.This is an opportunity to build something from its infancy that is at the core of Pearson’s strategic pivot toward engaging directly with consumers.What You Will Do:Partnerclosely with theCo-Presidents of DTC and their teams to develop business strategiesandplansthatboth shape and support the overall business of the divisionAlignwith thecorporate strategy &finance teamsto create financial models and scenarios to support new and ongoing business planning and modelingMaintain strong pulse on market trends, competition and consumerfeedbackAnalyze market research and data todevelopand strengthenbusiness cases and scenarios. Commission research where necessaryUnderstand and define existing and potential consumer segments: demographics, psychographics, behaviorsArticulate ongoing market dynamics and strategies, identifying Pearson’s place in that along with challenges and opportunitiesPlay a key role in crafting Pearson’s DTC overall business narrative and storyThere will beelementsof Partnership development (still TBC)whichcould forexamplebein the space of content licensing andacquisition As this is abrand-newopportunity, you will need to be both resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity,asyou will shape this roleover timeYou will be a strong collaborator, working cross functionally with other divisions within the company to drive the DTC business forward ','Pearson is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and a member of E-Verify.
