Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Medical Oncology to join our growing Oncology Clinic.
Minimum of 2 years' Surgery Assist experience preferred.
The Medical Oncology NP will provide First Assistance on all surgeries, evaluate patients, prep/post Op Procedures, and have dedicated Outpatient Clinic time.
Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are affiliate partners in Nevada's first integrated academic health system. The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty at UNR Med for teaching, lectures, supervising clinical rotations, and other academic activities for the education of medical and physician assistant students, residents, and fellows.
Position Highlights
Monday - Friday, 7 am to 5 pm Daily rounds in the hospital Outpatient Clinic- new consults and post op follow up appointments 1:4 call shared with other APPs Epic EMR Competitive Compensation - Salary + Quality Bonus Full Health Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision CME Stipend $1500 Start to Work Bonus and Relocation Assistance Teaching facility for the University Nevada, Reno School of Medicine No State Income Tax
