POSITION SUMMARY:
Leads our asset management team in optimizing the performance and efficiency of our property management portfolio. This role is crucial in ensuring that our assets are strategically managed to maximize returns while minimizing risks. Will have a proven track record in asset management, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops and implements strategic initiatives to enhance the performance of our asset management operations. Specifically looking for ways to increase the value of the portfolio through refinance, sale, purchase of LP interests, etc.
Oversees the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of our asset portfolio to maximize returns and align with organizational goals. Assists in the evaluation of markets for development during due the diligence period.
Implements effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with asset management activities.
Drives efficiency improvements across asset management processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
Conducts financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and ensure financial health of assets.
Leads and mentors a team of asset management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and goals.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all asset management activities.
Other projects and work assigned by supervisor as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in asset management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of asset management principles, real estate investment, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
