Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets. YOUR ROLE: To manage the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple projects and integrated programs, ensuring consistency with company strategy, client commitments, and KPIs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive the planning and execution of a multitude of technical projects Manage discovery sessions leading to project scope development Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define and redefine project specifications, functional requirements, and final deliverables as an aspect of scoping Lead the process for building and rebuilding estimates Confirm definition of project tasks and drive project plan build (milestones and timing) in the Workfront (aka AtTask) tool Lead the resource management build (assigning roles) in Workfront and interface with the resource manager for talent appointment Interface with core clients regarding project deliverables, progress, and solutions Resolve critical timeline issues and implications (internally or externally driven) Track project deliverables within Workfront and JIRA Provide superior communication and direction to the project team as you guide the overall process of the project Drive project measurement, reporting, and analysis process required for projects Monitor and redirect project progress with a focus on risk management Ensure quality assurance requirements for the project are met Review all activities to support project closeout and any retrospective requirements Monitor projects’ monthly financial burn rate to predict over/under burn while working with the Operations team to balance any discrepancies. Write, organize, and maintain process and procedures within Confluence. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2-4 years’ experience in technical project management Strong background in technical builds for modern service-oriented architectures Demonstrated ability to understand and document technology architectures and environments Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platform Deep expertise in managing front-end development with a thorough understanding of modern Web applications using technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular Thorough understanding of RDBMS databases and data schemas/structures Up-to-date understanding of DevOps practices, including code repositories/source control (Git), continuous integration, and delivery Practical, hands-on experience with agile development, including ability to lead sprint and epic planning, as well as managing Kanban boards and release cycles Practical, hands-on experience with writing business requirements, stories, and test plans Applied knowledge of the practical aspects of project management (certification) Application of PM techniques and tools Demonstrated track record and experience in fostering collaboration Demonstrated track record in managing bug and enhancement issue identification and resolution Proficient in key software: Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, AWS Console, Adobe Workfront, Microsoft Office Suite PMP and SCRUM knowledge or certification preferred. This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
