We are seeking a full-time HVAC Engineer with 5 years of engineering experience in design of HVAC mechanical systems.

Our southern, New Jersey office is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. We provide engineering services for Governmental entities throughout the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our company info; roughly 100 employees, 20 million in revenue.

REQUIREMENTS:

You need to be familiar with relevant building codes, ASHRAE and other applicable design standards. Plus the ability to coordinate projects with clients from start-to-finish, be able to prepare contract documents using AutoCAD, and prepare/check mark-ups for execution by our designing and drafting team. Knowledge of how to design chilled and hot water piping and air distribution systems, and prepare/check cooling & heating load calculations. Ability to run projects through construction, check shop drawings, be able to respond to RFI’s, and perform detailed field surveys and building evaluations. NJ Professional Engineer License. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience. Technical English writing skills for specifications and general communication. Proficiency AutoCAD is required. Very familiar with relevant building codes, ASHRAE and other applicable design standards.
