Our *Sr. Finance Analyst* provides financial reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting for the Yearbook Division. This position will be on-site at the Clarksville Plant and focus largely on supporting Operations and the overall Yearbook Business. This position develops, tests, and maintains Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook soft tools; provides support to Yearbook Division with internal/external audit schedules and additional ad hoc support/analysis; and develops and maintains the tools that are integral in the planning and forecasting process. Additionally, this position will be the primary offsite Finance lead for the Sedalia Plant.
*Qualifications:**Required:* * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance * 3+ years progressive professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting * Computer literacy required in Microsoft Office with expertise in macros * Strong general business knowledge * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization * Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent time management and organization skills * Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks * Great written and verbal communication skills
*Preferred:* * CPA or CMA preferred * Previous experience with a manufacturing business and environment
*As our Sr. Finance Analyst you will:* * Perform general accounting and month-end close for the Yearbook Division * Prepare various monthly account reconciliations, including the research and resolution of reconciling items * Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly results with all stakeholders * Develop and continually improve consolidated reporting tools * Prepare internal and external and audit schedules for the Yearbook Division * Complete annual plans and quarterly forecasts for a variety of Yearbook Operations departments. * Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes * Understand spending variances and drivers of spending * Develop, test, and improve Excel/Access/Outlook soft tools that are integral in completing all financial requirements, including month-end close, quarterly forecasting, and Profit Plan * Ensure data integrity and accurate reporting of financial information * Provide support to Plant Controllers on accounting issues and provide training with systems/software * Prepare numerous weekly/monthly analytical reports to provide timely data to Plant Management and Staff, Division Finance, and Plant Controllers * Additional ad hoc analysis and special projects related to new initiatives, technology projects, staffing, strategies and other projects including support for process improvements
