Topsify, a Warner Music Group sub-brand, is the destination for exceptional music playlists, content and streaming innovations, and strategies spanning global hits to new releases across all genres.
Topsify builds data-driven playlist strategies to bridge the gap between artist marketing and streaming revenue, driving global fan engagement and enabling discovery for WMG artists. By integrating dynamic and fixed playlists into global campaigns, we ensure consistent streaming success, growth and revenue for our artists.
Your role:
You will be responsible for all aspects of Warner Music US Topsify playlist strategies across dynamic and fixed, including curation of fixed and dynamic products, label relations, marketing and promotion across all major streaming platforms.
You will be responsible for the curation and creation of our US and Global profile playlist suite and developing finely tuned cross-platform marketing strategies to grow and amplify our lists and artists. Identifying trends, monitoring track and playlist performance and collaborating with our US labels, social media and commercial teams will be critical to the success of this role. You will also be responsible for managing a junior member of the team who will assist across the US editorial suite. Your team will shape and communicate best practice across the US business. You will be working in a fast paced environment cross-functionally across the business.

You will create, execute and continually develop playlist strategies that delivers meaningful streaming impact for WMG artists with an innovative approach to artist & release led campaigns
You will be responsible for meeting US streaming and revenue goals
You will curate a full suite of playlists across all genres, mood and seasonal spaces
You will deliver fixed playlist products through our internal pipeline meeting delivery targets
You will lead cross-platform playlist development to diversity and increase revenue and enhance playlist value
Develop consistent playlist marketing strategies across WMG US by producing creative and engaging marketing and advertising campaigns that increase the value of our playlists to surpass competitors
You will represent the Topsify team in numerous internal and external meetings, leading the playlist strategy and guiding the key stakeholders on execution in the US.
You will collaborate with DSP Account Management leads and label marketing teams to develop programs that achieve artist development goals and are complementary to label objectives
You will guide playlist programming and develop unique playlist experiences for a broad range of listeners, from superfans to casual
You will partner with tastemakers and curators to expand the reach and credibility of our playlist ecosystem
You will develop solutions for playlist marketing & programming coordination across WMG US that complements global strategy
You will identify and leverage new consumer demographics and trends for playlist/ streaming user reach
You will collaborate with creative, strategy, audience and media teams for integrated campaigns that maximize audience data, consumer reach and exposure for playlists/artists
You will establish and communicate best practice process for Warner US playlist strategy
You will work with The Commercial Department’s Research & Analysis Team to create and communicate commercial analytics reports
Manage a junior member of the team who will assist in playlist curation, fixed product deliveries and more.
About you:
5+ years experience in music editorial/playlisting, with experience building US playlist strategies
4+ years experience in US marketing across music, consumer and lifestyle
Deep understanding of digital content and all streaming platforms, including but notlimited to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, etc.
A deep understanding of streaming analytics tools, along with the ability to use themeffectively in analyses
Background in the streaming landscape, audience development, digital advertising and music trends
Extensive knowledge of music styles and genres, new and catalogue
Ability to combine data with experience to develop curation and marketing strategy
Experience managing people and projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Have excellent communication and relationship skills
Experience working effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
Basic understanding of design tools like Photoshop, Canva, Adobe, etc.

Salary Range
$60,000 to $68,640 annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
