We're looking for an experienced Account Director dedicated to providing exceptional customer satisfaction in a highly dynamic role! You'll lead a team whose mission is to develop learning strategies and create educational experiences through video, , eLearning, training events and instructor-led content for major automotive manufacturers.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning and employee engagement, and extensive experience in a client services role. You have planned and executed complex projects in a timely fashion, within scope and budget, while communicating with management and team members to exceed client expectations. Automotive industry experience is required!
Responsibilities
As an Account Director at MSX, you will assume responsibility for strategic direction and management of a major OEM client account, leading a team of project managers and trainers in developing client relationships and delivering on commitments. You will:
Develop and maintain successful relationships with your clients, understanding and predicting their needs and serving as their primary point of contact. Lead 20 account team members to accomplish goals related to the design, development, and delivery of training for OEM retail and corporate employees. Partner with MSX Creative Learning Strategist to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that impact retail employee performance and engagement, customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Lead development of your account team, providing guidance, motivation and feedback that maximizes employee performance and client satisfaction. Employ a hands-on approach to manage and optimize account operations and project priorities as you lead the delivery of high-quality solutions. Oversee client communications and meetings related to: Relationship building Account planning and support Status meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews Collaborate with department leads in Production and other shared resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify strategic account opportunities, providing thought leadership to clients. Manage account budgets, track financial performance, and ensure profitability targets are met. Collaborate with senior management to develop account strategies, meet performance goals, and drive overall business growth. Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation, including contracts, agreements, and project plans (i.e., Scope of Services). Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients. Required Skills
Proven leadership of a large team. Ability to work within complex, large client organizations. Passion for modern learning theory and engagement technologies. Experience leading change management in a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Proven success in people management in a fast-paced environment. Ability to direct cross-functional teams during the development and implementation of major initiatives. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills. Experience in organizing, prioritizing, and implementing project tasks. Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously. Experience working with diverse clients. Experience managing large budgets and project profitability. Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Master's degree a plus. Experience
Minimum of 5 years as an Account Manager with automotive OEMs. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing account team operations. Experience in learning, performance improvement, and talent management.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120k to $140k based on current experience.
