Database Admin
to support a newly awarded program with installation & maintenance of network systems, applications, security, & configurations within a government customer's physical/network infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be in
Albany, GA
to work
onsite
(9-hour shifts with every other Friday off).
Responsibilities: •Day to day will involve monitoring and updating malware protection software to combat potential security breaches, creating account data for authorized individuals to access databases and organizing databases •Executes disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunction •Modifies and implements changes to database systems and information •Executes regular database maintenance tasks, including database defragmentation, backups, and database replication •Supports users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and troubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices.
Requirements: •A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field •6 years of experience with Oracle OR SQL database administration •Experience administering SQL or Oracle Databases •Scripting Experience with Python for Automation
Must possess one of the following:
CompTIA Security+, CCNA, A+, Network+, SSCP, or CND
Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Compensation: •Salary: 90k-105k with PTO & Paid Holidays •Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
