Job Summary:

The Senior QA Engineer works closely within an Agile Development Team to deliver high-quality products to customers. The focus of this role is on testing and quality assurance, ensuring that products meet the required standards. The role also involves contributing to product design, providing thought leadership, and driving continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities: Test Activities Management: Responsible for test activities on assigned projects within an Agile development environment. Test Script Development: Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual test scripts, utilities, data sets, and other tools required for executing test plans. Automated Testing: Develop automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and Developers on product design and provide thought leadership on testing approaches. Effective Communication: Communicate testing activities and findings clearly through both oral and written reports. Test Tools Management: Administer and control test tools; organize and maintain the test script library for assigned areas or applications. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure comprehensive testing processes are followed. Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Overall 6-9 years of experience in IT, with at least 5-7 years in Quality Assurance. Hands-on experience in full life-cycle testing, including writing test plans, developing test cases, and implementing test strategies. At least 2 years of experience leading complex test programs and working with testing tools. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Selenium WebDriver for automated testing. Proficiency in ALM/QC/JIRA for test management and issue tracking. Experience in ATM/Teller Device Testing (or similar hardware/software testing environments). Soft Skills:

Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively share findings and testing results. Ability to work under minimal supervision and take ownership of complex testing projects. Ability to mentor and coach junior staff in testing best practices. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile Methodologies: Previous experience working in an Agile environment and delivering quality products as part of an Agile team. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including leading complex test programs and mentoring junior team members. Knowledge of Additional Testing Tools: Experience with other test management tools or frameworks is a plus.

Certifications (if any):

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications (preferred).

ISTQB Certified Tester (preferred).

Selenium WebDriver Certification (preferred).
