Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise network solutions across a global infrastructure. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and implementing security measures to ensure seamless operations. As part of the Network Engineering team within IT Operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining system availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

•Monitor active network equipment to ensure system reliability and availability.

•Troubleshoot and resolve network issues while implementing security measures.

•Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.

•Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, IP addresses, VLANs, routing protocols, MPLS, VPN, QoS).

•Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

•Provide Level 2 support to diagnose and resolve network problems.

•Work within established configuration and change management policies.

•Assist in network design and implementation.

•Troubleshoot network deployment issues and recommend solutions.

•Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.

•Update the knowledge base with known errors and resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

•5-9 years of experience as a Network Engineer.

•Proven expertise in a network administrator role with hands-on experience in routing and switching.

•Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills in SD-WAN, LAN segmentation, Cisco switches, routers, wireless access points, and controllers.

•Solid understanding of networking protocols (IPSec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF) and network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).

•Deep understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.

•Proficiency in internet VPN remote implementation and problem resolution.

•Experience with network diagnostic and analytics tools.

•Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

•Flexibility to work in 24x7 shifts.

•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.

Certifications:

•Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCDA.
