Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $63,750 - $145,200

This dedicated position will be part of Tech at Lilly MQ. Tech at Lilly MQ is purposed to deliver and provide support for Manufacturing & Quality hardware, process and building automation equipment installation, end user support, and special project custom applications.

Perform technical requirements analysis of workstation infrastructure design Coordinate with vendors regarding requirements, operating system requirements, additional hardware requirements and costs Install and configure workstations, IGEL, and offer support to any additional hardware and software within scope. Provide qualified infrastructure platforms. Train team member(s) on the operations of new equipment, processes, workstation software, networking, etc. Troubleshooting problems on platforms including specifically Citrix, RealVNC, VDI, Linux, iGel technology Windows 7/10 /11 OS & workstation hardware as well as Telecom. Consultant for questions regarding infrastructure, compatibility, backup, and configuration issues Provide strategy for immediate and future upgrades of hardware and software applications Perform application and operating system upgrades for lab and automation systems Providing supporting documentation for validation and testing of upgrades Assist with validation of new and existing systems by providing technical design information to assure GMP data integrity. What You'll Be Doing
You will be partnering across MQ sites to identify, develop, deliver, and support opportunities for streamlining, standardizing solutions and processes associated with the Infrastructure of our Indianapolis Manufacturing sites. How You'll Succeed
Utilize solid understanding of Manufacturing and Quality business processes to anticipate Infrastructure short term and future needs from an Information technology architecture standpoint. Work with other Tech at Lilly areas to identify solutions to complex problems related to MQ. Collaborate, influence and/or lead the definition of Tech at Lilly support and/or delivery processes. Provide technical knowledge, monitor solution delivery projects for compliance with the defined reference architecture and proposes and facilitates proof-of-concepts to enable clarity around future state direction. Collaborate with Tech at Lilly teams to research, identify, test, certify, select and introduce innovative technology products required for solution development and delivery. Collaborate with the Tech at Lilly teams to ensure understanding of, and alignment with Data Architecture Standards. Actively collaborate with Tech at Lilly teams to introduce operating principles for systems, interfaces and architecture (e.g. proper patching process, LCM, software version control). Ensure external vendors understand the Cyber Security and Protect Lilly requirements and can translate these into implementation specifications. Act as interface between Tech at Lilly and Business Partners on (or across) large projects and programs from a technical perspective (e.g. consulting, delivery, performance, site expansions). Keep outward focus to identify new trends and opportunities. Act as coach/mentor to local team members and others regarding technologies, architecture and technical design as appropriate. Assist Tech at Lilly in executing approved designs into implementation specifications, leveraging new technologies to minimize the sites' outages. Support initiatives that influence the business to drive value and implement the appropriate technical solutions. Find innovative ways to leverage new technology to drive business value. Good understanding of GMP knowledge and experience delivering within those requirements and constraints. Strong knowledge with distributed S95 Level 3 solutions, commercial configurable software and hardware suppliers, and business intelligence Strong technical Skills: including infrastructure, interfaces, and configuration capabilities.
