5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support our customer located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The position Supports an Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, Mission Command Product Office (Msn Cmd PdO) Assistant Product Manager (APM) responsible for coordinating Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control System software product requirements.The requirements focus on the Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) system portfolio to include the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) and Patriot, as well as integration of Sensor and Weapon Platforms such as Sentinel, Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS), and Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Supporting Mission Command Product Office leadership on all business, financial, contract, logistics and technical management activities associated with software product requirements, classified laboratory development environments, and lab management. Including:

Coordinating with PMO contracts, budget, acquisition and systems engineering teams for development of independent cost estimates, contracts requirement packages, acquisitions strategies and technical solutions. Coordinating with industry OEM counterparts' contracts, program management, engineering, and logistics teams to track and manage overall software support products. Assisting the APM with the planning and execution of current and future year budget, managing and updating the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) and the Management Acquisition Reporting (MAR) funding reports in Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), updating spend plans and managing associated contract actions. Supporting development of written and verbal products that clearly articulate on-going activities to internal/external organizations.This includes weekly Situation Reports, Command and Staff charts, responses to internal and external taskers and updates to the Integrated Master Schedule. Managing and tracking IBCS hardware/firmware/software baseline per configuration (LRIP, FRP, testing and development labs), managing the material release process for Agile Software development and ensure seamless integration with fielded units, test sites, logistics and the Fires Center of Excellence. Codify user requirements & capability needs. Tracking need dates & linkages to JIRA tickets. Working with Solution Architect, Solution Manager, & Integration Director to develop and manage the programs designed roadmap. Planning and executing current and future year budget, manage spend plans, and associated contract actions. Providing periodic reviews with appropriate representatives to determine status of overall project and major milestones; ensuring coordination of orderly phasing of all actions and cost, schedule, and performance risk; identify alternative risk mitigation approaches; and ascertain appropriate action required to maintain or improve project schedules. Coordinating IPTs, Meetings and Working Groups, developing briefings, agendas, minutes and action items. Represent the Mission Command Product Office leadership in situations where the government leader is not available. Coordinating domestic and foreign disclosure staffing requests for IFMC Mission Command Product Office related products planned for delivery or presentation to leadership and customers. Ensuring products are properly marked according to PMO information security standards. Developing and maintaining historical archives to ensure activities, briefings and decisions are available for reference and to maintain the PMO/PdO leadership institutional knowledge.

US Citizenship An active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain Resident of the Huntsville area A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or significant applicable experience. 10+ years of applicable experience associated with business, financial, contract, and software management activities. A strong understanding of and experience with AIAMD systems. Good communications skills, people skills, and enthusiasm are essential, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment. The ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations to staff contractors and government officials. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The ability to travel when required.

Other desired qualifications:

Previous Army acquisition product or program management experience. Previous experience with the Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, Sentinel, LTAMDS, and Indirect Fire Protection Capability. Previous experience managing contractual deliverables. Previous experience with Atlassian software management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
