HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Contractor Team shall work closely with the instructors, students, management and team management to develop a new wireless network, support the current wireless network, support 2 wired networks, and the testing and assessment network. They will prepare documentation sufficient to gain approval of SSP’s. The Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities.
The Contractor team shall collaborate with learning enterprise partners.
The Contractor team shall develop and document a new wireless network at the new facility.
The Contractor team shall migrate all three networks to a new facility.
The Contractor team shall document Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities.
The Contractor team shall work with Cloud migration technologies, such as Microsoft Azure.
The Contractor team shall administer computer networks.
The Contractor team shall perform network architecture tasking.
The Contractor team shall work recommended new network technologies.
The Contractor team shall collaborate with the vendors.
The Contractor team shall perform Network administration.
The Contractor team shall tend to the day-to-day needs and maintenance of networks.
The Contractor team shall design and configure networks as needed.
The Contractor team shall coordinate network support from vendors.
The Contractor team shall actively participate in internal and external meetings.
The Contractor team shall assist in short term and long term network planning.
The Contractor team shall help the Sponsor create current state of the art network architecture and will brief such to varying levels of management.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:
The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying wireless networks
Demonstrated experience installing applications on Windows systems such as Servers and Desktops
Demonstrated experience working with MECM
Demonstrated experience with deployment task sequencing
Demonstrated experience working desktop and network hardware
Demonstrated experience with the systems and network accreditation process
Demonstrated experience with services such as Cisco Umbrella
Demonstrated experience with Office products to develop and document network design
Demonstrated experience with Cisco Meraki
Demonstrated experience of architecting, designing and configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points and wireless LAN controllers
Demonstrated experience architecting, designing and configuring a Windows Active Directory infrastructure
Demonstrated experience working closely with vendors to create bill of materials to meet requirements
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying networks
Demonstrated experience with Cloud technology in AWS and Azure
Demonstrated experience of ability to utilize Office products to develop and document network design
Demonstrated experience with third party software maintenance products
Demonstrated experience with third party software deployment products
Demonstrated experience with deployment task sequencing
Demonstrated experience working desktop and network hardware
Demonstrated experience with the systems and network accreditation process
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
Demonstrated experience developing and managing a Microsoft Azure environment
Demonstrated experience taking customer requirements and architect a network solution, utilizing data, voice and video requirements

The likely salary range for this position is $124,950 - $169,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
